午後、ドトールに立ち寄って、アイスティーを飲みながら１時間ほど、久方振りに Gavariche po rusky （Ｒｕｓｓｉａｎ ａｓ ｙｏｕ ｓｐｅａｋ ｉｔ）に目を通して来た。 そしたら・・・・・・まあ、何ンてこと！ ロシア語の単語が結構な数、頭の中から蒸発している事に気が付いた。 勿論、暫く経つとドンドンと戻ってくるのだけど。
途中で、一休みして少しボンヤリしていたら・・・・・・ふと、今日が 『こうみ塾』の連中がフィンランド夏至祭 だと言って大騒ぎをしている日だった事に気が付いた。
（夏至祭を何んで、こんな 飛んでもない６月の初旬にやるの？）(Aren't Ｋｏｕｍｉａｎ ｇｕｙｓ crasy ?) murmured I to myself.........
Geshi is literally Summer solstice, and Summer solstice is the day when the declination of the sun reaches 23 degrees 27 minuits north. But look ! ...... It's June 6 today, which is 2 weeks earlier than the day of summer solstice !! In case the shifted date falls on within 7 days from the original Juhannus'es Birthday (June 24th), I wouldn't say anything about it. However the date shift reaching more than fortnight is entirely out of question !
Before this.......... I heard the following words with my own ears twice . “The date shifting of this time was proposed (or advised) from Finnish side with the words ; ‘More Finns can participate in the festival during the first ten days than in the original Midsummer-day-week when many Finns go home to spend the Midsummer in their own country.’”
When we hear the words "More finns can partidipate in the event during the 1st week of June than during the 3rd ten days of June", we happen to think that it sounds quite reasonable. However what we should evaiuate most is the weight of the culture and the history lying behinde “Juhannuspäivä”
When we forget the importance of the culture and the history of “Juhannuspäivä”, we are very easy to to think,
THE MORE NUMBER OF FINNS CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT, THE BETTER........................！
However,I can never evaluate too much
THE IMPORTANCE OF KEEPING THE CULTURE AND
THE HISTORY OF “Juhannuspäivä” IN MIND ALWAYS !
（小海の連中、バカじゃないの？） と僕はつぶやいた。
夏至というのは、太陽の赤緯が北緯23度27分に達する日の事だぜ。 それなのに今日はそれよりも2週間も早い6月の6日じゃないか？！ イベントを繰り上げた日がユハンヌスのもともとの誕生日の一週間以内の日だったら、オレは何も言わないさ！！ だけど、繰り上げた日が2週間以上も早まっちゃったって事になると、それはもう、全く問題外だヨ！
ところで、話は変わるけど、以前に、何処かで、オレ、自分の耳で2回ほどこんな事を聞いたことがあったっけ・・・・・・
『今回の “フィンランド夏至祭” の開催日変更を言い出したのは、（我々日本人ではなくって）フィンランド人達である。 ・・・・・・って言うのは、6月下旬がやって来ると、フィンランド人達は自分達の国で夏至祭を迎えるために、みな帰国してしまうから、小海の夏至祭を6月上旬ににして貰えれば、もっと多くのフィンランド人達が小海の夏至祭に参加出来るから・・・・・・』 だって。
このような 『こうすれば、モット多くのフィンランド人達がイベントに参加できるじゃナイ・・・・・・っていう言葉を聞くと、私達は、直ぐに『イベントに参加できるフィンランド人の数が大きければ大きいほど素晴らしい・・・・・・って考え勝ちですが・・・・・・、ソンナ事よりも、フィンランド夏至祭の文化と歴史を大切にする事の方が、遥かに大切な事なンです。
私達は、フィンランド夏至祭の文化と歴史を大切にする事の意義を忘れると、私達は直ぐに
イベントに参加できるフィンランド人の数が多ければ多いほどイイ・・・・・！
等と考え勝ちですが・・・・・
“Juhannuspäivä” の文化と歴史を常に心に留め置く事こそが
一番大切な事なのです！！・・・・・・
